Our religion program focuses on biblical and theological study and offers a full array of courses in the study of the biblical text, the opportunity to study the biblical languages, and a rich variety of courses in theology and ethics.

Biblical Languages Minor

The department offers a minor in biblical languages to develop skills in using biblical languages to study and interpret biblical texts.

  • Greek 211, 212
  • One upper level course in Greek (GRK 351, 371, 411 or 421)
  • Hebrew 111, 112
  • One upper level course in Biblical Studies ( REL 320, 330, 335 or 431)
  • REL 435 Biblical Language Practicum (1 credit hour), taken in conjunction with the upper level Biblical Studies course above
