Assistant Professor - Physical Therapy

The University of Evansville invites applicants for a 10-month tenure track position in the Department of Physical Therapy. Requirements for the position include a terminal academic doctoral degree from an accredited institution or a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. Expertise in adult neuromuscular physical therapy and gait preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to thrive in our collaborative environment. Responsibilities include teaching, advising, scholarship, and service to the University, community and profession. We have partnered with local facilities to provide residency education in neurology, orthopedics, and sports. Ample opportunities exist in the community to participate in clinical practice and research. The program will be moving to a new Multi-Institutional Medical Education and Research Center in the fall of 2018, which will provide many additional collaborative research and inter-professional teaching opportunities. The position begins August 1, 2018.
