Planning for STAR
Students will receive information from the Office of Academic Advising about placement testing that will be required of the student before attending STAR. Accommodations for testing may be requested through the Disability Services Coordinator at 812-488-2663. Health Information Requirements
Beginning mid-May, all students registered for STAR will receive a Health Information Card and information packet by US mail. It is important to obtain and provide the required physical and immunization records before classes begin. Return all health information to the University Health Center by July 15 to ensure records are in compliance.
Transfer students who will be living on campus should apply for housing and review the new student move-in information found on the residence life webpages. To contact the Office of Residence Life, please call 812-488-2956.
Meal Plan Options
Meal plan options are avilable to students commuting from home, as well as students living on campus. AceBucks are available for purchase for any student. To contact the Office of Residence Life about meal plan information, please call 812-488-2956.
Welcome Week Information
STAR students are not required, but may opt to particiate in Welcome Week. Pre-registration is required. Please contact the Center for Student Engagement at 812-488-2371 with questions.
Parking on campus
While a permit will not be required to park on campus during STAR, all students parking in campus lots must register their vehicle and purchase a parking permit. Traffic and parking regulations are posted on the Office of Safety of Security webpages. Students should visit the security office to obtain a permit, which will be available beginning mid-August for that academic year.
