Located at 1935 Lincoln Avenue, the Melvin Peterson Gallery was dedicated in 2010 and is the University of Evansville's newest exhibit space. It features changing exhibits of artwork by local and regional artists, alumni, and students.

Legacy families are invited to a special reception hosted by the UE Alumni Association. This event includes the opportunity to meet with other legacy families, hear from UE administrators, and meet UE Alumni Association staff. Guests will enjoy refreshments, hors d’oeuvres, and take a commemorative family photo!

See UE’s Mad Hot Ballroom ChangeLab Program in action! Students from Glenwood Leadership Academy will perform a Cuban salsa routine with UE ChangeLab and Ballroom Club students. This program is part of a city-wide initiative where our students are trained in ballroom instruction, then they visit elementary schools throughout the semester and perform with them. Students gain invaluable leadership and physical health benefits from the dance instruction, but also learn how to administer large-scale, life-changing programming.

Want to know the basics and specifics of the Harlaxton program at UE? In this session we will cover the Harlaxton program and introduce you to how it works for UE students. Topics will include life at the manor, academics, travel during the Harlaxton program, and basic information about the UK and Harlaxton area. This session will cover specific information for parents of students planning on coming to Harlaxton. Information will include traveling to Harlaxton, what to bring, important information about banking, communication, and travel.

Free Tour of the Peters-Margedant House – No Charge
Behind Koch Engineering Building, on the south side of Powell Hall
Interested in the Tiny House movement? Are you a Frank Lloyd Wright fan? Then we have a house for you. Come enjoy a free 15-minute tour of the Peters-Margedant House, which is nestled behind Koch Engineering Building, and between Powell Hall (south side) and the Native Plant Garden. This tiny space efficient (Usonian) house was built by Evansville’s own William Wesley Peters, who attended Evansville College (later the University of Evansville) and went on to be Wright’s right hand man.
Tours will take place between 11:00 and 1:00 on Saturday and last just 15 minutes.
