Welcome Reception hosted by Parent’s Council

Parents of UE Students are invited to a special reception hosted by the Parent’s Council. This event includes the opportunity to meet with other parents, hear from UE administrators, and meet UE Parent’s Council members. Guests will enjoy refreshments, hors d’oeuvres, and UE merchandise.

See UE’s Mad Hot Ballroom ChangeLab Program in action! Students from Glenwood Leadership Academy will perform a Cuban salsa routine with UE ChangeLab and Ballroom Club students. This program is part of a city-wide initiative where our students are trained in ballroom instruction, then they visit elementary schools throughout the semester and perform with them. Students gain invaluable leadership and physical health benefits from the dance instruction, but also learn how to administer large-scale, life-changing programming.

This session will cover specific information for parents of students planning on coming to Harlaxton. Information will include traveling to Harlaxton, what to bring, important information about banking, communication, and travel.

The annual Family Weekend Concert featuring the expansive talent of UE’s music students (University Choir, University Orchestra, and the University Wind Ensemble), student organizations, inflatables, and so much more. Arrive early – it’s usually standing room only!
