Scholarships for Direct-Entry DPT students entering the undergraduate program in Fall 2020 or after

Students admitted into the Direct-Entry (DE) DPT Program in both the 3+3 and the 4+3 models beginning their undergraduate program in the Fall of 2020 or after will receive their primary UE merit-based scholarship throughout undergraduate studies only, as long as all renewal criteria are met. Students are considered undergraduate through year four (when the undergraduate degree is earned) regardless of 3+3 or 4+3 track. Beginning in the summer following the completion of the bachelor's degree, the graduate portion of the program will be under a Reduced Flat-Rate Tuition model, and students will be awarded a Loyal Aces Graduate Scholarship of either $2,500 or $5,000 annually (based on ACT scores prior to matriculation).* This scholarship will be applied to graduate studies during the fall and spring semesters (excludes summer terms).

*For UE DE students who do not immediately progress into the graduate portion of the DPT program following completion of their undergraduate degree or fall out of progression, the student’s tuition rate will be determined based upon term of re-entry. Student will remain eligible for the Loyal Aces Graduate Scholarship.

Additional aid may be available for students in the undergraduate portion of the DPT Program. The University of Evansville assesses eligibility for all forms of need-based financial aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Need-based forms of financial aid require that the FAFSA be filed annually to establish and renew eligibility. Federal, state, and institutional sources may provide grants (gift-assistance that is not repaid), student loans (repaid by the student after college), and federal work-study (employment on campus). We encourage all UE students to file the FAFSA annually between October 1 and April 15 to ensure maximum consideration for all forms of need-based aid for the next academic year. Indiana residents must meet the State of Indiana April 15 filing deadline to apply for grants funded by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education (CHE).

Please note: It is not necessary to file the FAFSA to apply for or to renew UE merit-based scholarships.
