Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars

What is Phi Beta Delta?

Phi Beta Delta is an honor society geared towards students, faculty, and staff who have participated in international service and scholarship.

Founded at California State University, Long Beach in 1986 with 38 chapters, this honor society now extends to over 190 chapters around the world and is continuing to grow. Phi Beta Delta aims to “recognize the scholarly achievement of international students and scholars who have studied abroad, and faculty and staff who are involved in international activities.” Their goals are to help with the development of academic-based international programming, provide a network on each campus of people involved in international endeavors, and extend that network to chapters around the world. Students at the University of Evansville now have the opportunity to join this honor society.
