CALLING ALL ADMITTED STUDENTS

We are excited to announce our UE Virtual Road Trip taking place April 10-16 for all admitted high school and transfer students to UE. During this week-long event, you can join us for one or all of the sessions listed below and learn more about UE, interact with current students, UE team members, and other prospective students, to get a taste of what it is like to be a UE student. We encourage you to participate in as many sessions throughout the week as possible. We will have a grand prize drawing at the end of the week for FREE books during the first semester of your freshman year at UE (up to $500) for participating in Road Trip. Every session you attend gets you an extra entry for this amazing prize.

Musical Madness
Musical Madness is an annual tradition at UE for student organizations to come together to compete and have fun. The organizations will put together a skit based around a theme (tv shows this year!) and connect it back to UE. This is an opportunity to show off the organizations, campus, and look back at the year we had.

Archaeology
Name that Artifact: While excavating at our on-campus archaeological site, Tin City, UE students have uncovered nearly 5,000 artifacts. During this session you can try your hand at identifying what a few of these artifacts were and for what they were used. In the process, we will discuss how archaeologists analyze artifacts.

Join Professor Tamara Wandel on your academic Road Trip to experience how the Department of Communication works with real clients to prepare students for navigating complex issues. Turn your favorite music on (and your computer, too), put your feet up, and learn about this year's global company campaign, award-winning podcast work, and a project with a professional sports affiliate. She'll steer the conversation, but you're riding shotgun so jump in with questions at any time.

Learn about the Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, and Legal Studies majors.
Math
Learn about the many programs the math department has to offer that will set you on a successful (and possibly lucrative) career path. We’ll discuss each of our programs and their many advantages, but then we’ll focus on the fast-paced and exploding field of data science. Data science is used to solve complex problems in just about every facet of our lives: athletics, commerce, marketing, and even fashion. You’ll get a quick glimpse of what data science entails as well as engage and explore with data by interacting with one of the apps created by our current students for their award-winning project.

Learn about opportunities for both music majors and those interested in participating in music while majoring something else.
Physical Therapy - The Secrets of Movement
Physical Therapy is about optimizing movement so our patients and clients can interact with the world around them. Lack of movement can be due to complex reasons and requires a clinician to think critically. In the session we will cover the secrets of how to optimize movement. There will be a Q&A with current DPT students following the session.
Physics
A massive inter-stellar object has entered our solar system, threatening our very existence. Earth's survival depends on you! In this session, you will learn about gravitational dynamics and the famous “three-body” problem by simulating this apocalyptic scenario.
Psychology Research Lab Tour
Ever wondered what it looks like on the other side of a two-way mirror? Come find out as you tour a Psychology Research Lab and learn about psychological research at the University of Evansville. In this session, you’ll get the inside scoop on mock trial research conducted in Dr. Stevenson’s “Psychology and the Law” research lab.
