Arts and Sciences Dean’s Search

The Dean of the William L. Ridgway College of Arts and Sciences oversees one of the three major academic units of the University of Evansville and reports directly to the Provost. The Dean oversees all aspects of teaching, scholarship, and institutional service, and meets regularly with the other Deans and the Provost to develop and implement academic priorities for the entire university.

The successful candidate will be a doctoral candidate with a degree in a discipline relevant to the academic programs in the College.  Similar to expectations for dean colleagues at the University, the ideal candidate will have a proven record of teaching, scholarship, and service as well as the potential for success in fundraising and grant activity.
