Spring Commencement 2012

This arrangement of white daisies and purple statice may be preordered for pick up at the UE Bookstore on either Friday, May 4 or Saturday, May 5 BEFORE commencement ceremonies. Orders must be prepaid by 9:00 a.m., Monday, April 30. To order, visit www.evansville.bkstr.com and click on the image on the homepage.

Each arrangement comes with a glass vase and a graduation-themed card for your personal note. Orders can be claimed by either the name used to place the order or the order confirmation number.

Financial Aid Information For 2012-13

FAFSA: Please respond immediately to any requests you may receive from the Office of Financial Aid to correct your FAFSA or provide verification documents. Students may still file the 2012-13 FAFSA to be considered for need-based aid, including federal student loans.

CHECKING GRADES AND CREDIT HOURS EARNED IN MAY: After the completion of the spring semester, we will review students' academic records to determine if they have met the requirements known as Satisfactory Academic Progress. Students who are deficient in meeting these standards are notified immediately via mail and are ineligible for any form of aid (including loans) until the deficiencies are corrected.

JUNE: Financial Aid Notification Letters are mailed in late June to your preferred address on file. Please make sure that your preferred address is accurate in UE's system. Only students with complete files will receive awards.

Get Involved - Parents Encouraged to Join the UE Professional Network

The UE Offices of Alumni and Parent Relations and Career Services and Cooperative Education have created a convenient, simple and direct way for parents to become a part of the UE Connect program and to engage with UE and its students. The new online system, University of Evansville Professional Network, allows students and recent graduates to contact interested parents and alumni of the University as they explore career paths and attain post graduate outcomes. Currently we have more than 300 members engaged in the UE Professional Network and we encourage you to join.

As UE Parents you represent an important resource for students as they determine their majors, minors, and career directions.

The Professional Network is a web resource of career profiles designed to connect more alumni, parents and friends of the University with the career development needs of students. It is a chance for them to ask questions about your field and your transition from a student to the professional world. You offer a unique opportunity for students to increase their business protocol and communication skills.
