Upcoming Events
Li'l Sibs Weekend will be April 11-13, 2008
This Year's Theme: Sib Safari
The Resident Students Association (RSA) is planning for the annual Li'l
Sibs Weekend. This event provides an opportunity for brothers and
sisters to see what types of events and organizations their older sibs
are in; and experience the college atmosphere. Li'l Sibs Weekend
provides a mixture of flexible time with older siblings as well as some
planned events hosted by RSA. All events hosted by RSA will have adult
supervision.
Registration Packets can be picked up in the ResLife
Office beginning February 11 and are due back March 10. Participation
requires the signature of a parent or guardian. Completed applications
can be faxed to 812-488-2156.
Tentative Schedule: The schedule will be finalized
using the input and age make-up of participants. So far, we are thinking
about the possibility of a campus carnival and/or zoo experience.
Check-in will be the evening of April 11. Check-out will be April 13.
Note: This program is geared primarily toward residence hall students
and their siblings. It is not intended for students living off campus,
in Fraternity houses or Village properties. Also, siblings of the
opposite sex cannot stay in the same room as their older college
sibling. It is the responsibility of the UE student to find suitable
housing with a friend who will be willing to house the Li'l Sib.
