Bibek Karki Graduated from the University of Evansville in 2020 with a degree in Biology, and he is now a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

UE provided Bibek with the opportunity to “experience a multitude of career options through which I discovered my interests in molecular biology research.” With the courses that he took at UE, Bibek was able to lay the foundation to pursue graduate school. He believes that the mentorship offered to him from faculty, staff, and peers led to his success in later endeavors.

Bibek’s advice for current UE students is “Use the opportunities at UE to discover your passion and the expertise to help you build your knowledge base and develop skill sets.” He is a big believer in communicating with professors and peers in order to learn their experiences. Above all, he encourages students not to procrastinate on things that are crucial to help them achieve their goals.
