Self-Service allows students 24/7 online access to their UE student account, financial aid, and student planning information.

Self-Service offers the following features:

• Financial Aid

  View missing and received documents, financial aid awards, and Satisfactory Academic Progress status. Report outside scholarships and accept or decline Federal Direct Loans and/or Federal Work-Study offered.

• Student Finance

  View semester billing statements, detailed account activity, and accessing online payment portal (Transact).

• Student Planning

  Develop academic plan and register for classes.

• Employee

  View tax information - W-2s when published and 1095-C.

• Proxy Access

  The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) governs the amount of student information which can be disclosed. UE offices may not discuss account details with anyone not granted Proxy Access by the student. Students may grant Proxy Access to parents and others to view complete or selected access of their financial information. Proxy Access is not available for Student Planning and Employee information at this time.

• Transact

  Student will have direct link access. Proxies will need to be designated as an authorized payer or use the guest payer link (student ID number and amount of payment required for guest payment).

  Adding an Authorized Payer in Transact Payments

  Authorized Payers can view and make payments. To add a payer, the student will need to:

  1. Log in to Self-Service
  2. Click “Student Finance”
  3. Select “Transact Pay Portal – Student” under the Helpful Links section
  4. This will open the Transact Student Payment Portal
  5. Look for the “Send a Payer Invitation” option
  6. Enter payer information, including email address

  
  Once the student submits this, payer will receive an email with instructions to set up Authorized Payer account. Both steps must be completed before payment can be made. Please contact our cashiering side if you have any questions.
