For over 50 years, students from the University of Evansville have studied at Harlaxton Manor, UE’s very own campus in England, in pursuit of an extraordinary study abroad experience. Harlaxton is located in the rolling countryside of Grantham, England, about an hour north of London by train. When you study abroad at Harlaxton, you get to call this 100-room manor your home. It’s the place where you’ll sleep, eat, and take classes. Dozens of other Aces will be studying abroad with you, so you get to experience new surroundings and opportunities with the comfort of familiar faces. Even UE professors spend a semester at the Manor teaching classes in their area of expertise!

PURSUE CURIOSITY

Harlaxton sits on 300 acres of lush gardens, woodland, and farmland. But there’s much more to explore beyond the estate. Classes are held Monday-Thursday, so the long weekends unlock endless travel possibilities. Join one of the Manor’s organized trips, or plan a visit to a nearby country or city with your friends. UE students have traveled by plane or train to places like Ireland, Spain, Italy, France, and much more.

In addition to a variety of courses, Harlaxton’s signature British Studies courses, taught by British faculty, offer deep insight into UK culture, history, and society. Many classes include experiential learning, with visits to historic landmarks and cultural sites that bring your studies to life.

Your financial aid carries over as well, so your only additional costs are travel-related. Most majors can study at Harlaxton and still graduate on time.
