Natalie Hedde, an Evansville, In., native, currently serves as Director, Government Relations for CenterPoint Energy Company. In recognition of the importance of multiple projects critical to the Indiana power generation transition, Natalie was named Director, Government Relations in Indiana, effective June 1, 2021. In this capacity, she helps lead the Southwestern Indiana generation transition team.

In this role, Natalie develops and leads efforts on generation development, as well as engagement with customers, developers, and colleagues to drive successful project outcomes. Previous to this role, Natalie served as the director of corporate communications where she led enterprise-wide public and media relations outreach, including serving as the company's spokesperson. She has a proven track record of developing, overseeing, and implementing comprehensive communication programs and strategies, including those in connection with the company's Integrated Resource Plan, as well as key operational and regulatory matters. She managed the communication functions for the CenterPoint footprint of Texas, Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas. She oversaw crisis and issues management activities for the company and related subsidiaries as needed.

Prior to joining Vectren Corporation, a CenterPoint Energy predecessor company, in 2010 Hedde sold biologics for Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals.

Hedde received a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications, with concentrations in management & marketing from the University of Evansville. Natalie is community-minded and active in the endeavors of Cancer Pathways Midwest and participates in numerous efforts benefiting St. Benedict Cathedral School, Nadege and the Charles C. Hedde MD Health Education Center. She is a board member of the Vanderburgh County Community Foundation Alliance and is also an alumnus-contributor to the UE Schroeder School of Business. She is also a past member of the CenterPoint Energy Foundation Board.
