Autonomous Lawn Mower
Tired of mowing your own lawn? Each year, Electrical Engineering students at the University of Evansville build a machine that can do it for you!
Built from the ground up, these robots can sense heat, navigate a maze to find the source, and put out a fire.
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Evansville offers a broad, project-oriented curriculum supported by faculty who are committed to mentoring and building lifelong relationships. All students participate in class projects, a formal year-long senior design project course, and are given the option to enter national project competitions. The department places a high value on design, invention, and entrepreneurship while inspiring students to learn new concepts and engage the world as informed, ethical citizens.
