- First Year Retention Rate: Percentage of students who returned to the University of Evansville the following fall semester
- Four-Year Graduation Rate: Percentage of students who complete a degree within 100% of normal time to complete the program—which is typically 4 years for undergraduate academic programs
- Six-Year Graduation Rate: Percentage of students who complete a degree within 150% of normal time to complete the program—which is typically 6 years for undergraduate academic programs. This rate for full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students is also known as the "Student Right to Know" or IPEDS graduation rate.
- Transfer-Out Rate: Percentage of students who transferred to another institution without completing their degree at the University of Evansville within 150% of normal time to complete the program
- Eight-Year Graduation Rate: Percentage of students who complete a bachelor's degree within 200% of normal time to complete the program—which is typically 8 years for undergraduate academic programs
Beginning Fall 2019, all full-time, first-time degree-seeking students are also full-time, first-time bachelor-seeking students, as the University stopped offering Associate's degrees at that time.
Outcomes for All Degree-Seeking Undergraduates
These measures show the outcomes of all degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students who entered the University of Evansville from July 1 through June 30 of the cohort year, including both first-time and transfer students, whether enrolled full-time or part-time.
