I fell in love with UE because of the people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, always extending a helping hand. Being Pre-PA, I figured that Public Health would be a great fit to help me broaden my outlook in the medical field and look at healthcare from different perspectives. I am wired to help people and with a Public Health degree I hope to be able to do that outside of the hospital as well. Also, with already working in the medical field as a certified EMT, Public Health has taught me how and why some of the protocols are in place. It has helped me understand to see healthcare for the population, not just the individual. UE has made me grow, not only as a student but as a person too.
