Why I Chose UE

I could tell that academics were a priority here and that professors genuinely cared about their students’ success both inside and outside of the classroom. The biology department is a supportive community that encourages me to pursue diverse opportunities while growing as a scientist.

UE Biology Experiences

I was involved in summer research with Dr. Hochwender and Dr. Powell examining the effect of diet mixing on the fitness of a parasitic plant last summer. I am also a TA for BIOL119 and tutor for the Biology Department.
