Why did you choose to attend UE?

I chose UE for the small school setting. I wanted my instructors to know me; I did not want to be just a number. UE stood out because of its history and the photos on the marketing brochures I received.

What activities or organizations have you been/were you involved with at UE? How have these impacted you and your college career?

I was involved with the Union Board, Delta Sigma Pi, intramurals, and pep band. I also worked at WUEV and Harper Dining Center while at UE. All of these impacted my college career by providing opportunities to meet people and build relationships. I loved planning events and activities with the Union Board.

What makes UE a special place?

The UE campus is small enough that it is easy to find your way around from day one. Time spent in the Wooden Indian and the Patio, where friends gathered to watch shows, play cards, pool, and foosball are among my fondest memories of UE.

What advice would you share with incoming students?

Be yourself. Do not let anyone tell you who you are supposed to be. Laugh often (especially at yourself). Time management is the key to success. Do not be afraid to take chances. Help is always available. You only have to ask.

Why do you recommend the University of Evansville?

UE is a great school on a beautiful campus. The small class sizes make it easy for students to have access to the faculty. No one is just a number or name on a roster.

Do you have anything else to share about your UE experience?

I learned after starting at UE that my grandmother attended UE in the early years of Evansville College.
Three of my own children have attended or are attending UE. Three out of four generations of my family have been Aces!
