Our ASCE chapter is very competitive in the major GLRC events which include the concrete canoe competition and the steel bridge competition.
The University of Evansville ASCE chapter is active in the community, sponsoring the annual Balsa Wood Bridge competition which is held at the University of Evansville as a part of National Engineer's Week. Organized and run entirely by UE ASCE members, the competition shows younger area students just how much fun civil engineering can be, while giving them a chance to compete with others in building the strongest bridge. We also participate in hosting Webelo’s Day for local Boy Scouts to receive their engineering badge. We are always looking for other ways to interact with the community, and any suggestions or opportunities would be greatly appreciated!
Please browse the website to get to know us better, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like more information about the UE ASCE student chapter.
