The University of Evansville Fellow Scholars Program is a comprehensive program that allows Black and Latinx students to attend the University as a cohort. The Fellow Scholars program is guided by 4 basic pillars for success:

1. Provide the Fellow Scholars with financial and academic support.
2. Provide opportunities for Fellow Scholars to better understand their own culture and history as well as appreciate different cultures and other diverse populations.
3. Help students to gain and demonstrate self-advocacy skills necessary to achieve desired academic and career goals.
4. Help students to utilize campus resources and become socially engaged on campus.

As first year Fellow Scholars, students are required to engage in a pre-college virtual summer program, weekly cohort meetings for credit during the first semester on campus and a pre-selected ChangeLab class during the second semester.
