Unexpected Change in Finances?
UE is available to assist students who are facing extraordinary circumstances. If a student finds themselves in a financial challenge, they may reach out to Student Financial Services to review all options related to the circumstance and all funding options available. Some examples include but are not limited to:
- Change in household income
- Unexpected change in housing accommodations
- Illness
- Accident
- Parent separation/divorce since filing the FAFSA
- Death of a parent since filing the FAFSA
- Excessive out-of-pocket medical expenses
- Reduction/Loss of child support
- Other unforeseen events
