Graduate Assistant - Swim & Dive Coach

The University of Evansville, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, invites applications for the Graduate Assistant position with the Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving program. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on NCAA Division I coaching experience while pursuing a graduate degree.

Position Summary:

The Graduate Assistant – Swim & Dive Coach will support all aspects of the swimming & diving program, including:

• Recruiting and retaining academically and athletically qualified student-athletes
• Developing strong relationships with student-athletes, staff, and faculty
• Assisting with practice planning, preparation, and coaching
• Coordinating film exchange and editing, statistics, and logistics
• Supporting team and coaches’ travel arrangements
• Helping with camps, clinics, and community service initiatives
• Assisting in program marketing, promotions, and social media
• Providing general program administration and other duties as assigned
• All responsibilities must be performed in compliance with University, NCAA, and Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Division I collegiate swimming or diving experience preferred
• CPR, AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to academic and athletic excellence
