Part-Time Assistant Baseball Coach
The University of Evansville, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, invites applications for the position of Part-Time Assistant Baseball Coach. This position will support the baseball program in all aspects of operating a competitive NCAA Division I program.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes.
- Develop strong relationships with student-athletes, faculty, staff, and the broader UE community.
- Coordinate film exchange, video editing, and statistical analysis.
- Assist with practice planning, game-day coaching, and player development.
- Support travel logistics and other operational aspects of team management.
- Aid in the planning and execution of camps, clinics, and community service activities.
- Contribute to the program’s marketing, promotions, and social media efforts.
- Help ensure adherence to University, NCAA, and Missouri Valley Conference regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Qualifications
- College and/or professional playing or coaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of baseball fundamentals and rules.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff, student-athletes, and administrative departments.
- Must possess or be able to obtain current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Availability for evening, weekend, and travel commitments as required.
