UE Explorers is an after school program for grades 6-12 that takes place twice a month during the academic year (September-April). Partnerships have been established with various Evansville youth-servicing organizations including Dream Center, Potter’s Wheel, and the YMCA. These organizations transport students to and from campus for UE Explorers. During their visits, a faculty member or UE representative will lead students in the exploration of a new academic area or a student engagement activity. Students will get an hour with faculty/UE representative and (occasionally) current UE students to do a hands-on activity to learn more about an area of study or on-campus student engagement activity. After the presentation, students have dinner in The Eatery.
