Why did you choose to attend UE?
I chose to attend UE because of the great scholarships the school offers, and the small and personable campus.
How has your program/major prepared you for a future career?
My majors have prepared me for my future career as a lawyer by having several different professors who are actually lawyers. The school does a great job of getting people with experience to teach classes.
What activities or organizations have you been involved with at UE? How have these impacted you and your college career?
I am a part of Zeta Tau Alpha. It is a Panhellenic sorority on campus, and it means everything to me. These girls have been my biggest supporters and my backbone. They keep me going through all the school struggles and are always there when I need them.
UE is a special place from the professors to the people you meet here. I was terrified going into college, but the professors know what they’re doing and are capable of making stuff happen. Campus is also small and easy to walk to everything. UE’s campus is home and feels like that to every student.
What advice would you share with incoming students?
Go out and about and get involved! Staying in your dorm room is not a way to make friends. Go to club meetings, go through recruitment, or go take a walk around campus. Get of your room and do something!
Why do you recommend the University of Evansville?
I recommend UE because of the campus and class sizes. It is so much easier to have a better college experience when your professors see you as a human and not just a number in class. Them knowing your name, and being able to sneak into office hours, is a huge help.
