Why did you choose to attend UE’s PsyD program, what advice would you give prospective graduate students, and would you recommend the UE?

I chose UE’s PsyD program because it truly feels like home to me since I did my undergraduates studies here. I was especially drawn to the meaningful work the program does within the community, as well as the supportive and engaging faculty I connected with during the process. For students searching for graduate or doctoral programs, my biggest advice is to believe in yourself and stay curious, ask questions during interviews and remember that you are evaluating the program just as much as they are evaluating you. Don’t lose sight of what you bring to the table. I would absolutely recommend UE’s program! The faculty are exceptional at what they do and are genuinely committed to helping students succeed. UE reminds me that we are instruments for our community and that we demonstrate the way that our community cares through the way that we care for others.
