UE Experiences

The University of Evansville Department of Engineering and Computer Science offer an experience for students that not many large universities can for many reasons. The quality of the education and diversity of courses has prepared me extremely well for the workforce. I find myself more knowledgeable on many more topics in Civil Engineering than my Co-workers who attended the big name colleges. Professors have both the practical as well as the theoretical experience. This is necessary to help relate the purpose of topics and how they apply in the real world. The quality of education is unprecedented. The class size is just right for the engineering degree where the professors are accessible for one on one time with students. This is invaluable for engineering students who like to ask the question, “why?” Even after college, I remain in contact with my professors who are a great resource and still remain good friends. The University of Evansville is very well respected for their engineering curriculum. I have traveled to many areas across the country for work and personal reasons. For the most part, someone has heard of U of E and has nothing but good things to say.
