Introduction

The Humanities at the University of Evansville

The humanities ask us to consider who we are and what our lives should, or could, mean; they force us to put ourselves in a global context and to understand what makes us the same, what makes us different; and they prepare us to become informed citizens of the world and productive members of our society.
