Annual Hesburgh Lecture is Friday, February 9 at 7 p.m.

This year's Hesburgh Lecture will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9 in Room 170 in the Schroeder School of Business Building. The lecture is sponsored by Notre Dame Club of the Tri-state and the Ridgway College of Arts and Sciences. This event is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.

The speaker will be Michael Desch, professor of political science and fellow at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. His topic is "What Should We Fight For?"

The presentation is billed as an outline of "the challenges and opportunities the United States faces as it grapples with how to ensure its national security in the years to come in light of the new threats and new technologies that will shape warfare in the coming decades."
