The University of Evansville extends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Robert Gallman, a 1964 graduate of Evansville College and a dedicated member of the UE community who recently passed away.

Robert began his service to the University in 1978 as controller and later served as Vice President for Fiscal Affairs and Administration. He also stepped in as interim athletics director during the 2001–02 academic year. Together with his wife, Nyla, he established the Robert and Nyla Gallman Scholarship, which continues to support students in business, education, and health sciences. After more than 25 years of service, Robert retired as VPFA in May 2003. We are deeply grateful for his remarkable contributions and lasting impact on the University of Evansville.
