Administrative Assistant - Office of Technology Services
The University of Evansville invites applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and department directors within the Office of Technology Services (OTS). This position plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the department by providing a variety of administrative, budgetary, and operational support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the CIO and department directors.
- Assist with management and documentation of the OTS department budget.
- Order and maintain office and technology supplies as needed.
- Support department scheduling, including coordination of student workers’ schedules.
- Serve as backup for answering the Help Desk phone line as needed.
- Document and maintain departmental processes and procedures.
- Perform other clerical and office support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior administrative or office support experience preferred.
