Staff Electrical Engineer
The School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Evansville invites applications for a part-time Staff Electrical Engineer position to start in September 2025.
Applicants will be responsible for providing supplemental engineering guidance and instruction to the school’s student project activities. With special focus on project support in the areas of electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science and cybersecurity. The undergraduate curriculum at UE is geared toward project-based learning, so some level of experience of designing and building of electronic components is expected. Some experience with additive manufacturing (3D printers) is also expected for this role. In addition, they will work with faculty, laboratory manager and school administrators to develop classroom areas, laboratory areas and project areas to facilitate student learning, professionalism, and safety. A successful applicant will be able to maintain a daily professional and safe working environment in all laboratory/project spaces.
Required Education
A B.S. in electrical engineering or a closely related field are preferred. Applicants with significant industrial experience are preferred.
