Why did you choose to attend UE?
I chose UE because it was super affordable and competitive financially to other schools in the area with scholarships, all while being close to home.

What activities or organizations have you been/were you involved with at UE? How have these impacted you and your college career?

I was involved with FIJI, Orientation Leaders, Embrace, Student Media, Student Christian Fellowship, and ESPN + Purple Aces Productions. I can say with confidence these organizations have shaped me into who I am now. I would not be where I am without the growth and leadership opportunities that were presented to me throughout my time at UE.

What makes UE a special place? How did our campus shape your college experience?

The people. It is truly unlike any other university because of the caring culture of the students, faculty, and staff at UE. The people truly made it feel like a home away from home.

What advice would you share with incoming students?

Say yes. Just sign up for things, even if you don't think you'll do it. You'll be surprised what saying yes and being open minded will do for your experience.

Why do you recommend the University of Evansville?

I recommend UE because everything about my personal experience has been nothing short of amazing. The people, the experiences, the culture, and all of the opportunities I had made UE the best possible choice I could have made for myself.

How has UE been affordable for you?

Scholarships and work opportunities on campus. Even if you do not qualify for work-study, there are still plenty of ways to make money on campus.

Did you visit UE before deciding to attend? If yes, describe your visit experience - what was unique about it? What did you notice? How did it shape your college decision?

Yes I did! I had a great experience with the small campus and getting to know people. Everything just felt warm and welcoming.
