I am a through and through coastal girl, growing up in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. My favorite part about working with students in the college search process is helping them to navigate seemingly uncharted waters. Choosing a university or educational path can feel very overwhelming! I love developing relationships with students to facilitate smooth transitions into new, exciting seasons in their lives! I have navigated many life changes in my higher education journey, so I know what it’s like to be a first-time freshman, transfer student, and non-traditional student. During my studies, I desperately wanted to feel at home at my university. That feeling propelled me into my career as an Admission Counselor. Helping students feel confident they are exactly where they are supposed to be is the best part of my job! I am honored to help Evansville feel like home for so many of our students.

Admission Advice

Stay curious in the Admission process. Visit schools of all types and sizes and ask lots of questions! Just like Prince Charming with Cinderella, you won’t know which shoe fits until you get to know all your options! Also, be on the lookout for different scholarship opportunities universities offer throughout the application process. For example, did you know at UE you can qualify for three different $1000 scholarships by engaging with our campus? It’s as simple as joining us on a campus visit, filling out your FAFSA, or submitting an optional essay. Talk with your Admission Counselor about different scholarship opportunities available to you.
