Your personal UE story is the best recruitment tool we have! When you write your letter or email, be sure to include personal details from your time here. That tells the UE story better than any facts or figures ever could. Include some details about how UE prepared you to be successful, not only in your professional career but also in your student career while you were here. Share a personal story about how a faculty member or staff member worked with you and gave you the confidence to succeed.

Dear [name],

As you probably know, I'm a proud alumnus/alumna of the University of Evansville! I’d like to tell you a little about what made UE special to me and how they prepared me for a life of confidence and success.

Making the decision as a family about where to go to college is no easy task! It is an important decision that will affect you for the rest of your life. It's important to find a school that fits your student’s and gets them where they want to go. From nationally recognized academics to athletics, dining, and even just the overall feel of campus, UE could easily be the place for you.

Take it from me, there's no place like UE. From the minute I stepped foot on campus, I knew this was where I wanted to be. My professors knew me by name, challenging me to be the absolute best I could be day in and day out. I had so many opportunities to apply what I was learning directly in the real world, whether it was class projects, internships, or other work.

And I know what you might be thinking: UE is a private school, and that sounds expensive. But it doesn't have to be! I took advantage of several scholarships and grant opportunities that made my education plenty affordable, and you can too.

There are endless reasons why you should consider the University of Evansville -- far too many to include in this note. But I would encourage you to visit evansville.edu/admission and learn more about how UE made a difference in my life and the lives of all its students. A campus visit is also a great way to discover UE for yourself.
