UE Experiences

As an athletic training major, I was able to get hands-on learning experience as a freshman under the supervision of a certified athletic trainer. This experiential learning experience with Division I athletics, coupled with the excellent faculty-led classroom learning, paved the way for me to attain a graduate assistant position at Valparaiso University. Even though I am no longer working in the athletic training field, the organizational, time management, and communication skills I developed as an athletic training student are still in use today as I work with the UE Alumni Association.
