For over three decades, the Gerontology Center has provided a wide range of services for students and caregivers in the larger Tri-State community.

The Gerontology Center is open to any student at UE, but it is particularly beneficial to Sociology students specializing or earning a 12-credit certificate in Gerontology.

In addition to this formal certificate, the Gerontology Center hosts the yearly Research in Gerontology Symposium. Each Symposium features a keynote speaker on that year's theme on topics in aging and the life course, as well as undergraduate student research posters on topics in aging.
