Introduction

The Department of History, Politics, and Social Change at the University of Evansville offers a rigorous, challenging education in a range of highly-meaningful fields of study. The high classroom standards are balanced with one-on-one support and mentoring from faculty. Students gain valuable hands-on experiences, work with a faculty advisor to explore a variety of career options, complete an original research project on a subject they choose, and study abroad. In these programs, students will use the past to understand the present and chart courses for the future. Upon graduation, students will be equipped with the skills for a life of personal and professional success in a wide range of fields with 21st century relevance.
