International Education Week
International Education Week (IEW) at UE is a campus-wide celebration that highlights the University's vibrant global community and the transformative power of international exchange. Organized annually by International Support Services, this week-long event features a diverse array of activities and programming designed to foster cross-cultural understanding and celebrate the international student experience.
The tradition of IEW at UE dates back over a decade, serving as an important annual event to showcase the University's commitment to internationalization. As part of the IEW celebrations, the longstanding International Bazaar organized by the International Club is also featured, providing an opportunity to highlight the diverse cultures represented on campus.
During IEW, the campus community comes together to participate in interactive cultural workshops, attend global film screenings, and enjoy international music and dance performances. The week also provides opportunities for international students to share their traditions and perspectives through exhibits, panel discussions, and personal stories.
Beyond cultural programming, IEW also features informational sessions on study abroad, international internships, and other global engagement opportunities available to UE students. This event serves as a valuable platform to promote the University's commitment to internationalization and prepare students for success in an increasingly interconnected world.
