International Student Lifecycle

  • Step one: Apply for admissions at the University of Evansville
    Applications are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis, but the deadlines are:
    • Fall: June 1
    • Spring: October 1
  • Step two: Submit your deposit to secure your spot!
  • Step three: Pay SEVIS Fee
  • Step four: Secure your I-20
    Once your deposit has been received, ISS will issue your I-20. This will be an essential document throughout the lifecycle of an international student
  • Step five: Complete DS-160
    This form must be completed before scheduling a Visa appointment
  • Step six: Schedule your visa appointment
    Prepare all the necessary documents
    • Valid Passport
    • Passport Photos
    • Form I-20
    • Form DS- 160
    • SEVIS Payment Confirmation
    • Visa Fee Payment Receipt
    • Appointment Confirmation
  • Step seven: Secure your visa
  • Step eight: Prepare for your departure to the US
    Make sure to bring the following documents:
    • Valid Passport
    • I-20
    • Visa
    • I-94 form (issued after arrival into the US)
    • Evidence of admission to UE
