Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

The computer science curriculum prepares students for all areas of the computer industry, for industrial positions, and for further study in graduate programs. The first two years provide a firm foundation in mathematics, natural science, basic programming analysis and design, and an appreciation for the humanities and social sciences.

The last two years of the program emphasize the design and implementation of computer software systems and the scientific and industrial applications of computer science. Many students will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with professors.

Specific program educational objectives and student outcomes may be found here. Enrollment and graduation data may be found here.

The computer science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET,
