Omid Khormali

Dr. Omid Khormali

Assistant Professor of Mathematics

Room 319, Koch Center for Engineering and Science

Dr. Khormali teaches courses in statistics, data science, and mathematics at UE. He is particularly interested in coaching the ChangeLab course, where students encounter challenges by working on real-world projects provided by clients. Dr. Khormali’s research is on graph machine learning and data analysis, and extremal combinatorics and graph theory. He is interested in engaging students in his research and is looking for talented, motivated and active students. Learn more about Dr. Khormali's publication.
Clark Kimberling

Dr. Clark Kimberling

Professor of Mathematics

Room 315, Koch Center for Engineering and Science

Dr. Clark Kimberling teaches a variety of courses, including Calculus 1,2,3, Differential Equations, Geometry, and Real Analysis. His research interests include number theory, combinatorics, geometry, and mathematics history. With more than 100 research publications, he has also published articles about nineteenth-century scientists who lived in nearby New Harmony, Indiana. His published musical compositions are scored for church choirs, and as instrumental solos. Dr. Kimberling started and continues to manage the Encyclopedia of Triangle Centers, a UE-based one- of-a-kind encyclopedia described on Wikipedia. Many of the subjects in the Encyclopedia are presented in MathWorld.
