Study Abroad

Mathematics Abroad and at Home

From on-campus projects to humanitarian projects abroad, students in the Department of Mathematics put their knowledge to use to gain experience and help our society.

Today’s college graduates must be adept at working in a global marketplace. To assist students in meeting that challenge, the University of Evansville provides the opportunity to study abroad at Harlaxton College.

Harlaxton College is located in the rolling countryside of Grantham, England. Students are encouraged to travel on weekends to take advantage of the culture, history, and sights of England. Weekend field trips are arranged to various locations, but students can also visit other European countries while overseas.

Students in the Department of Mathematics are encouraged to study abroad. Students will work with their academic advisor to design a course plan. Typically, Mathematics students study British Studies and general education classes while at Harlaxton. All classes earn credit towards a UE degree just like on-campus classes.
