Assistant Professor, School of Health Sciences
The School of Health Sciences at the University of Evansville is seeking a candidate for a full-time tenure-track position for the fall 2026, at the rank of Assistant Professor in the School of Health Sciences and specifically the Exercise Science program. The candidate should be able to teach entry-level and advanced Exercise Science Courses. Preferred classes in gerontology, exercise physiology lab classes, cardiac rehab, nutrition, and strength and conditioning will strongly be considered.
Candidates should possess experience in laboratory-based instruction and familiarity with exercise science technology and testing protocols.
The faculty member will also be actively involved in academic advising in the School of Health Sciences, scholarship, service to the University of Evansville and to the School of Health Sciences. Desired qualifications for the position include an earned doctorate. However, ABD candidates will be considered.
