Hands on Learning
Led by University of Evansville professors, students, and staff, UE Engineering OPTIONS mini-courses will feature lectures and laboratories where participants design, build and test projects using computer-aided engineering software, the Internet, and other tools.
Another exciting part of UE Engineering OPTIONS will be a visit to a company or industry that employs engineers. Participants will observe a work setting on a guided tour of the facility. Engineers will answer questions and show more about the real-life work of engineers or computer scientists. Companies that OPTIONS participants have visited include Vectren, Whirlpool, Sabic IP, Toyota, Rexam, Kimberly Clark, PPG Industries, Alcoa, City of Evansville and others.
