Introduction

UE Engineering OPTIONS will acquaint you with the vast career options available with a degree in engineering or computer science. This includes mini-classes taught by University professors, students and staff, plant tours to see engineers and computer scientists in action, and fun activities with participants and college student counselors.

Held on the campus of the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana, UE Engineering OPTIONS includes all meals, snacks and activity costs. The residential camps will include housing in a modern, air-conditioned residence hall.

Held on the University of Evansville campus, UE Engineering OPTIONS will expose participants to the vast career opportunities available in engineering and computer sciences.

The cost per participant far exceeds the fee the University charges. Support from local industry helps to keep the fees low.

  • UE Engineering OPTIONS for High School Girls
    An all-inclusive, five-and-a-half-day residential camp for girls currently in grades 9, 10, or 11.

Recruitment for UE Engineering OPTIONS is nationwide. In addition to local participation, past participants have attended from Illinois, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Missouri, Texas, Tennessee, Oregon, and Washington.

Funding from sponsors ensures that OPTIONS offers a quality program at a reasonable price. Prior camps for Middle School Girls and High School Girls were sponsored in part by the Alcoa Foundation and the Indiana Space Grant Consortium.
