Academic Peer Tutoring
Peer Tutoring is a free service offered by Academic Services open to all students needing academic support.
Students may drop in at any time during tutoring sessions as their schedule allows. For details regarding what sessions we offer, please view the tutoring schedule.
Tutoring is a great resource for:
- Asking clarifying questions
- Preparing for exams
- Reviewing course material
- Completing assignments
- Studying
For students planning to attend tutoring, here are some helpful tips:
- Bring relevant course materials (assignments, textbooks, etc.).
- Have specific questions or concerns in mind so that the tutor knows how to best help.
- Be respectful of other students as well as of tutors.
- Remember that tutoring is not a replacement for asking your professor questions and attending office hours.
Note: For students seeking help with math class assignments and skills, please refer to the services offered through the Math Lab.
