ACE Pathway
The ACE Pathway is a program that helps you gain the skills needed to easily communicate professionalism, accomplishments, and career focus to potential employers or graduate
schools. By signing up, you create the building blocks for a successful future in today’s competitive job market. To sign up, email career@evansville.edu. Once registered, you will have access to the materials. This 0-credit course will remain open until every element is complete or you graduate. If you complete all items, you will be awarded the ACE Certificate and a UE portfolio!
You may sign up for the ACE Pathway at any time; however, it is ideal to begin this program in your freshman or sophomore year so you are prepared for an internship or other experiential learning opportunity. The program covers important steps featured below.
Pathway steps:
- Start the Ace Pathway.
- Sign up on Blackboard.
- Meet with career coach to review your TruTalent personality assessment results.
- Develop your personal image.
- Draft resume and meet with career advocate to review.
- Review and Finalize resume with career coach.
- Draft cover letter and meet with career coach to finalize.
- Practice your interview skills with Career Coach.
- Create a LinkedIn profile to connect.
- Join Career Events and practice 30-second oral resume with employers.
- Experiential Learning through Internships, co-op, practicum.
- ACE Certificate!
