Internships and Cooperative Education for Employers
Students learn best not by watching but by doing, which is why UE strives to offer extraordinary experiences that foster professionalism, career preparedness, and a global perspective. We highly encourage students to have at least one experiential education experience during their academic career.
The Center for Career Development is always seeking internship and co-op opportunities across every academic discipline. Contact us for assistance with building the foundation for a successful internship program!
Purpose and Objectives
The purpose of the experiential education is to strengthen student academic and professional training through a study-related work experience position. The objectives of the program are to:
- Provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to expand their education beyond the classroom.
- Allow professional organizations and professional personnel an opportunity to contribute to undergraduate education.
- Bring about a stronger relationship between the University and the Organization
Experiential Selection
Selection and referral of students will be made without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin or age.
