Internship and Co-Op Information

The Experiential Education program allows students to integrate classroom theory with practical experience in industry and business. In order to evaluate your experience, the following forms must be completed and turned in to the Center for Career Development. Additionally, all experiential education documentation is managed in Handshake for both students and employers.

  • Policies and Procedures for Internships and Co-Ops
    This document must be reviewed and signed before beginning an internship or co-op experience.

  • Learning Objectives
    This information will provide direction for the documentation of your learning objectives in Handshake as well as provide help and suggestions for preparing effective learning objectives for your internship or co-op experience.

  • Experiential Education Documentation and Evaluation in Handshake
    As all experiential education work terms are documented in Handshake, this link provides student direction for how to update and maintain experiential education records.

  • Co-op/Internship Semester Work Report
    This report is to be turned in at the end of your co-op or internship experience. In the report you will describe the objectives set for your internship or co-op experience and your accomplishments.
